Gift from Pete and Amy. Exactly what you expect, a heritage style blend form Columbia Valley with a few years of age on it. Fresh, rich, sense of place, very happy with it.

Cassis, blueberries, smoke, coffee, herbs, and earth on the nose. Tart cherries, cassis, earth, herbs, and a little oak on the light palate. Bright juicy acidity, fine tannins, short-ish finish. This wine was light but quite solid. It worked well with dinner.

A nice Bordeaux blend. We decanted for more than an hour. Black fruit and bramble on the nose. Full bodied with a dry but pleasant finish. At this price point I think I would rather drink the Newton Claret.

Customer Appreciation Tasting (Bin 75): Corked. Sadly everyone else liked the other bottles so much they did not leave me any. I've really like this in the past.

A lovely Bordeaux style blend. Well balanced with excellent structure. It opened up really well in about 30" and developed an extra layer of subtlety.
