  Visible seepage with a lower fill level, I pressed this bottle into service for traditional New Year's Day pork, sausage and sauerkraut dinner. Had developed more tropical fruit notes, lychee or rambutan, refreshing, light, 9.5% alc., with good length.

  Upon opening, notes of latex and petrol- opens to fresh pear, citrus, crushed limestone. Mouth is much more intense than the nose, more oily citrus than the nose implies. Saline and rocky finish. Still very young, but so easy to have with some roasted sausage. Very good stuff.

  Penultimate bottle, in pristine condition. Classic Kabinett, classic JJ, in a slightly riper style (slightly lower acidity, a little more alcohol at 9.5% ABV). Citrus, peach, blackcurrant, slate and wax, good but not excellent length. Drink now and over the next few years, do not wait too long.
