Perhaps a bit past its peak, but still very good. Smooth, well balanced. Cloudy appearance is not reflected adversely in the taste. A great value in a non overpowering cab. Must be careful removing the cork because it is dry and crumbly.

If you are holding this wine, drink it very soon! It's an amazing example of sour cherries -- both the nose and the taste -- but there's not much else going on. The finish is nearly instant. Very little of the two varietals' characteristics remain, this wine is on it's last legs!

Decanted for about 2 hours. This is the second time I've had this wine (not the same vintage). This is a great drink. I've enjoyed it both times. It's a bit tight and a little hot on the nose. Cherries, dark fruit and cassis--fairly one dimensional. Good tannis with a moderately dry finish. I'm drinking by itself, but this wine seems like it would probably do well with food. Nice solid effort.

Intense and fruity, smooth with toast and spicy finish.
