Great fruit and balance with acidity, drank easily, no great complexity but a joy to drink, drank with baked lobster with vidalia onion stuffing, baked clams and corn on the cob, chenin blanc rocks, will drink again.

A big wine, dark color, full bodied, started out tannic but opened up beautifully, drank with Tuscan steak, 2 pound T-bone steak rare, great paring, structured, nice sipping complexity, 14.5% abv, only complaint is that we could only drink 4/5 of bottle due to the abv and richness of the wine, Denner wines are usually over the top and this one showed some restraint but was fun to drink, on to the next vintage.

Wow that is a good price. The wine is more like $40 in the US although I have seen it in some Costcos for less.I like your taste as I love DDO and Melville wines.

For Drouhin Oregon
I paid GBP 14.99 in Costco - less than $20 - vs $30+ here. I had a similar experience with D'Arenberg's Dead Arm, but there is no universal rule for this - you have to look at individual bottles, even within a label, to see which country is cheaper.
Pity they don't have Melville;
