This great wine s in a wonderful place right now! Glad I was patient enough to let it age. Greg, Brandon and their team are doing a fantastic job at Gramercy 👍👍🍷

Quick decant, started with food. Delish. Sad to see this one go. Forever. I get my stale dried cherry fruit leather identifier for tempranillo but definitely new world and at 7 yrs this has the guts, tannins, acid and fruit to hold on for years. Would love to drink aside a Rioja at yr 15 or so.

Popped and poured. Very nice wine, drinking quite well right now, but with years of development still ahead of it, followed by many more years of drinking enjoyment. Brambly black fruit and dark chocolate are the primary flavors I get. Quite enjoyable. Drink now - 2034.

P&P but I had the cork out for 4 hrs or so. Dark blackberries carry a smokey edge with a light touch of vanilla that adds textural richness. Surprising light (perhaps not considering the producer) on its feet and good closing acidity. Should hold if needed but this rearing and ready to go. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die!

Served with a spicy beef taco salad. Rich red fruit with a little sweetness, round and slightly tannic. Finished off for dessert with a piece of milk chocolate- delish!

Upon first PnP, the wine seemed a bit thin for a Temp. Still had some nice fruit and a bit of spice but not enough of either for our palettes. I think we were both expecting more body, fruit, spice, etc., but it never really showed up. Tried it the next day and it opened up more, a bit of floral notes and more distinctive fruit and spices but the body still wasn't there. A decent wine but you have to go in knowing that it's not going to be as full bodied as other tempranillos.

Hommage a DryCab - Washington Wines release; 5/3/2018-5/5/2018 (Various spots in Walla Walla): The second to last vintage of this wine since tempranillo is a tough grape to grow in Washington given the climate and there were issues over the last few years. The pepper really dominates here and you almost have to look behind the curtain to see much else. When I did it was mostly sweeter fruit. Good wine, but I like the Syrahs better.

A bit simple on day 1. Amazing on day 2. Sour red Rainier cherry, poblano pepper, spice, earth, a little savory. Really shined when paired with heuvos rancheros.

A fabulous wine that is from a consistent producer. Will go well with just about any dish. At it’s peak and could last five more years.

This wine was exceptional. Will cherish the 3 I have left since they have removed these vines, last vintage.

A fine New World Tempranillo. Leaning to the purple fruited side, some grit, and good structure. Probably best over the next three to five years.
