Maybe I am biased but tonight this was a superb wine at its peak. Balanced and supple, maybe could have used a bit more aromatic definition, but so nice with a flank steak and sugar peas. Still the blueberries are there as well as hint of mint. Down side is the 15% alcohol. Last bottle in a half case I purchased in 2003, after several bottles in a North Beach dinner I enjoyed with my family.

Ruby red with slightly orange reflexes. The nose presents red fruity and slight wood. Palate round very balanced with still some tannins and acidity and middle persistent. Perfect now. It can be stored for 2 or 3 years.

Pretty disappointing... Like a CdR-Village at best. It was basically a mouthful of cherries, some acid showing through, did not stand up to food all that well.

Holding up well. Decanting prior may be a good idea as it did seem to open up after an hour.
