Rich red/black fruits, but overpowered with a strong aroma and taste of alcohol. Primary/secondary flavors with hints of maturity. Still some life left to go.

Nose of hot black berry pie, plum, allspice, and forest floor, same on the palate, big body, very tasty, mouth filling fruit, showing its age, time to drink up, long, long flavorfull finish.

4th Saturday Group brown bagger (R&C's): Light ruby color, slightly cloudy. Cherry, florals and pine resin notes in the bouquet with a subtle pruny quality underneath. Medium-bodied with some tannins and a good bit of acidity; slightly austere. On second pass, it has become candied- to the point where candy apple qualities dominate. Candied apple and red berry flavors on the finish. Decent. I had no guess.

it's all over, might have been good at some point but now, it's light with a lot of sediment, no fruit, more earth, not that good

The intense fruit has given way to more earthy, stewed fruit, oak and spice characteristics. A touch hot, but still enjoyable.
