  • Not as bristling or as resinous as the '79 Chave Blanc, the 1980 is still an amazing of mature Hermitage blanc. Notes of quince and acacia are followed by sappy hints of pine nuts, resin and smoky minerals. Still drinking well in magnum, I imagine that 750s are tiring so it's definitely time to drink up.
