Second and last bottle of this superb Hermitage Blanc from Chave.
Nice white flowers and honey nose. Very long. Probably at its peak but I wish I had more.

Had some funk initially that mostly blew off after about an hour in the decanter. Incredibly unique flavor profile with rather deep honeysuckle and melon notes, and some sort of minerality that is difficult to further characterize but that I could not recall tasting in any wine before. Slight residual low level funk/tang had be wondering if this particular bottle might have been at it's peak 5-10 years ago. Excellent experience in any case.

Sehr kräftiges Gelb. In der Nase komplex, nussige Noten, reife Früchte, Ananas, Mango, Blütentee, Honig. Im Gaumen dicht, straff, konzentriert, viel Kraft, jedoch auch Eleganz, ein eindrückliches Beispiel von Weisswein, mit langem, salinen Abgang und herrlich exotischen Rückaromen. Das macht Spass.

Medel bronsgyllene. Medelgardiner (14,5 procent).
Gul frukt, tropisk frukt. rejält med honung, grapeskal, aningen finosherry.
Rätt låg syra men kompenserar honungssötman med en direkt trevlig beska. Medellång eftersmak med mest frukt.
Kräver lite tålamod men här finns en massa trevliga aromer.
