This was phenomenal. Nicely aged and could have gone a few more years pretty easily. Subtle notes of tobacco and cassis. Earthiness, gravel/graphite, and hints of bramble. Nicely balanced with a long, velvety finish.

This was pretty amazing. It started out with a very funky barnyard nose, I was prepared for the worst. After 1.5 hours of duck decanting it had morphed into a very "Montebello" nose - fabulous. The palate was full, rich green fruit. It had a pronounced green pepper middle. The finish was soft and fairly long. Matt and i were very pleasantly surprised by this wine. I have one more, we'll drink it soon...

Wow...it's old school Cabernet but it's packed with iodine, animale, green tobacco. Jaw dropping stuff for me.

Just ridiculous. Cassis, tobacco, graphite, acidity. Earthy but with great fruit and complexity. Very long finish. This was stunning last night.

At its peak. Much like an older bordeaux, with leather, mushroom and resolved tannins. Drinking beautifully.
