I was blown away at how great this wine was holding up. I thought it could be a bit flabby, but it was still in fantastic shape. Rich and bold with intense structure. Fruit all there with dark berries, chocolate. There was zero green/pepper on this wine.

Black to the edge, with aromatic blackberry and black cherry. The sip is concentrated, firmly tannic, fruity, and brightly acidic. Will benefit from years more of age, largely to round and soften the still grippy and astringent tannin. Remarkably fresh with no apparent oxidation. A tribute to the Sacrashe Vineyard on top of Pritchard Hill in Rutherford which despite being only 753 feet high, makes rugged, powerful, and ageworthy Cabernet Sauvignon wines that are as good as those coming from the famous high altitude Napa appellations of Howell Mountain and Spring Mountain.

Very solid Napa cab, just doesn't bring enough power for me.
