- Crimsom color with medium forming legs and aromas of violet. It's balanced and has flavours of raspberry and black currant with a medium/full body. Polished texture with a long finish.

Nose: A bit off putting at this stage with alcohol showing early, but gets better as it opens up revealing a Cherry/Blueberry note that is slightly candied as well as some bell pepper. Palate: Silky, silky, silky smooth. Very impressive mouthfeel even if it is a bit thin. It does not hide in oak either. Black Cherry, Currants and Blueberry Jam dominate the mid palate. Finish: Longish, but not tremendously complex. Palate feel drives the score here. A great effort that gives some insight as to how the winery has improved quite a bit in the past 3-5 years.

(KATHRYN HALL SACRASHE VINEYARD CABERNET SAUVIGNON) #3; VaynerPASS; Nose-tight, fresh, floral, lilacs & violets;Taste-herbacious green pepper hits the palate initially, serious tanins on mid-palate through the finish, really lush, but a major PASS; WE-93; GV-88

Thoroughly pleasant and well balanced. quite elegant with subdued fruit taste, but a rich nose.

This has improved and is great right out of the bottle now. it has blown off the green taste I noticed and is solid mountain fruit.
