Let air in the decanter for an hour. Smells of dark fruit, Leather, mint, pepper. Palate shows intense fruit and dark chocolate. Very concentrated. A bit hot with a medium finish. Needs more time in the cellar to calm down, a very good wine just a bit young at this point.

Barossa = Eden, High Eden and Barossa Valley Baby Run Rig Struie = large hill Here: 2 parcels from Eden Valley (higher elevation). 80yr old vine age, 20% new oak. 100% Shiraz It’s noted that Grange is now a wine of S Australia and not Barossa any longer. Woodcutter was red and black fruit, but Struie steps into BLUE fruit. Rich sweet fruit, with big freshness.

Whoa. Baked raspberry palate. Structure. Medium minus tannin which works well with all the fruit and body. This is some substantive wine, but still carrys freshness. Wild wine, lovely drink.

Matter of Taste Zurich, Grand Walkaround Tour. A vegetal profile expressing green bell pepper along with dark cherry and Asian spice. Soft texture with pretty good weight and density to it.
