Pale ruby colour. Medium and developing nose with forest floor, mocha, cranberry, ripe red currant and lingonberries. Medium (+) taste of cranberry, ripe red currant, mocha, forest floors charred wood, tea leaves and savoury. Long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium (+) tannins. Medium body. A very good Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir with high concentration that might be in a dull phase? Drink now or over the next five years. Goes well with duck, mushrooms, pork or veal.

With Stuffed Pork Chop….. Dark berries, some smoke, crunchy, hints of orange peel, Earth, subtle turpentine, wood pulp resin? Underlying sweetness. Still coming together but enjoyable already. Score should improve. Check back 2026.

Medium-bodiied for Cali-PN with ripe dark and red berries. It has some sweetness balanced with its acidity. Drinking well already but still on the young side.

Floral nose, hints of smoke. Dark red berries, good acidity and length. Has that sort of California sweetness, you wouldnt think this was from anywhere else but not in a negative sense.

Just like a bottle earlier this year. One of the best Freeman PNs I have had. A deep/dark PN.
