Freeman Winery tasting visit. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of floral rose, sweet brught red cherries. Youthful. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol (13.8%), medium tannins, medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of bright red cherries, juicy red strawberries, sweet spices. Medium+ finish. Good quality, very pleasing young Pinot. A bottle of this would disappear in no time on the dinner table in a restaurant. Enjoy now and over the next 2-3 years. 11 months in 21% new French oak.

Tasted at Freeman Vineyards. Lighter than the 2016 RRV, with a shorter finish.
