Punchy and bunchy nose. Floral spice, briary fruits and a touch of menthol. Richly fruited and intense but light on its feet. Excellent drive and expansive finish.

Earthy, chalky. After a little while some light violets, but fruit is never center stage (which I like). Light, but not thin. This is more in the Lagier-Meredith vein, but even lighter. And very far removed from the Paso style. Wish I had better describers, but a really elegant Syrah. Great stuff.

Enjoyed with blackened chicken. Another solid Failla. Dark fruits and nice amount of spice.
