Probably right on the money with the drinking window here. This, for my preference, was slightly tired. Still good, and all the pieces are there for sure. Well made wine. Quieting down a bit at this age.

Crazy good companion to organic grass-fed T-bone medium rare steak. Preserved dark blue fruits, black cherry jam, black pepper. Fat and smooth. Medium acid. Plenty of life ahead.

Slightly cloudy. Olive, lavender, blackberry, deer blood, cracked black pepper, and cool saline breezes. Velvety tannins wrapping what is still massive fruit. Palette reminds you more of campfire than sea breezes. Absolutely perfect at this stage, with more years to give.

Still tasting great. Not as peppery as it once was, but still great fruit and silky tannins.

This was pretty darn special. Smoky, savory meat and bacon flavors. Gorgeous wine in a good spot
