Beautiful well integrated syrah that is drinking very well without a hint of slowing down. Lots of cracked pepper and baking spice on the palate reminiscent of a zinfandel. Prominent structure that did not interfere with the primary elements. Really nice.

The pig ran into the forest. On the nose, there are rich, bacony notes, huckleberry, and some earthy, woodsy aromas. Lots of fruit on the palate, but the finish doesn't really come out until it warms up a bit. A California wine reminiscent of Cornas that really comes together nicely. More, please.
