Medium straw with gold reflections Medium plus aromas of stone fruit/ radish along with yellow apples and yellow floral notes - creamy lees notes Medium plus body with creamy mouthfeel from lees contact - palate of stone fruit and vegetal notes with definitive white pepper Medium acidity and moderate phenolic bitterness and medium alcohol Moderate length led by the creaminess and phenolics A very unique and well made wine - carries the varietal characteristics but at the same time different from Austria Drink now or 3-5 yrs

Blind tasting Pale yellow. Some bubbles on the glass Aromatics medium. Yellow florals, yellow apples and later celery root. Creamy lees nose. No pyrazines or minerality Palate has a medium + body with a creamy, mouth-filling/rounded feel consistent with lees contact. Acid medium +. Alcohol medium. Some phenolics. Yellow pear/apples. Later white pepper Finish has a medium + length. Balanced Dry glass notes of dry grass and white pepper I guessed a 2018, old world chardonnay from France. The white pepper, celery root became apparent to me after the reveal. The phenolics should have taken me away from Chardonnay Regardless, nice example of a Grüner made in US Drink now or hold.

(at The Brickhouse Downtown - Arizona). What a wonderful surprise. Great feel and broad palate yet with a stony intensity and good balance. I can’t think of many more versatile yet interesting white wine for everyday drinking. Wish I had a few cases on hand for the warmer months. Nicely done! (91)

Pretty good. Melon, peach, and spice. Could use more oomph.
