Leaner than I had expected, for sure. Nice strawberry and tart raspberry, with garrigue, black pepper, a bit of baking spice, gentle tannins, and background hints of licorice. Palate is light and crisp, not heavy at all. It’s a little stemmy, but its a personal question whether you call that complexity or bitterness. I enjoyed it.
