11 years old and outstanding.....I really didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. Stood upright for 2 months, cork in perfect condition, decanted, fair amount of fine sediment. Slight bricking on the edges. True expression of grenache. Aroma still very fresh, lots of black cherry. Palate similar with asian spices and a long peppery finish. Medium bodied, smooth as silk, well balanced. 14.5% alcohol, but well hidden. Drank over 2 hours, slowly was declining, so I'd drink soon, rather than wait, if cellared properly. 91-92 pts.

Very different from how I remembered it. Shows clear signs of age in the colour. The wine is probably past its prime, but was still drinking nicely. Not much fruit left (especially when thinking about how it has been), but the fruit and tannins that remained were well balanced and fairly elegant. This was my last bottle and I would not recommend anybody else to keep theirs much longer.

Purchased at release and well cellared, I was surprised that this bottle presented itself as one twice its age. Brick colored. Dusty dried cherry nose added aromas of wet leaves with time. First glass held my interest but I couldn't finish the tired, swampy second. Last time I drank one was 5 years ago and I thought it was simple and jammy. Possibly there was a problem with heat before I bought this. I'll try my last bottle before passing judgement.

Typical ripe berry nose and palate. Nothing spectacular, but enjoyable nonetheless. a few bottles left to drink over the next few years but no signs of an imminent end.

Not my favourite grape variety and probably a better wine 2/3 years back but well balanced and not much bricking
