  Vivid orange and crimson with plenty of cloudiness and sediment. Some skunk and sulphur and still-alive red fruit. Funky raspberries with a touch of sweetness. More of a Boomer cab than I tend to prefer.

  Good, not great. Very well stored bottle. Improves with 2-3 hours of air. Oak is still prominent after 27 years, providing flavors of chocolate biscotti and spice. Fruit is a bit muddled and ripe. Showing age with mushroom and earth. While enjoyable, this wine is a little boring and oddly disjointed with still too much oak after decades of age.
