  This is a wine for wine nerds like me. The vintage is - as you probably know - not great in Bordeaux. And that was an understatement. Calon has however somehow managed to make a good wine against all odds. I have served this blind to connoiseurs on several occasions and none have been even remotely close to spotting the vintage. Left bank Bordeaux yes - but 92! No way. Very classic barnyard, wood, spice and dark fruit.
