Pale yellow color with faint green tones. Apple, lemon, pencil eraser, and minerals upon swirl. In the mouth, mineral, talc, and a sour apple finish. Great acidity. The touch of sweetness is a welcome contrast to the rest of the flavor profile. Went very well with rosemary chicken. But then again, this would pair well with a very wide range of dishes.

Wine Tasting Group - Theme: Germany/Austria - June 9, 2018 (Sakhuu Thai Cuisine, Dallas, TX): Hint of petrol aromas followed by apples, minerals and herbs. Electric acids with crushed rocks and tart apples on the palate. Finishes with a nice bitterness. Nice tension between fruit, acid and minerals. More and more, the feinherb may be my favorite style among the German whites.

Wine Tasting Group - Mr. Wok (Mr. Wok, Plano, TX): Mild petrol on the nose with tart baked apples, minerals, and herbs. Palate flavors follows the aromas but with so much minerals - almost like putting tart apple and herb flavored rocks in your mouth. Nice balance of fruit, acids and minerals - the tension that Germans do so well.

Love the RS level on these feinherbs. Perfect for drinking on the patio and this was no exception. Great stuff
