From magnum, courtesy of R&D. Deep yellow color. Apple, quince and a good bit of vanilla. Full-bodied, the fruit carries the heavy oak influence nicely. Apple and fig flavors.

Off the list at Montarra. They were not shy about using oak in this wine. Hints of tropical fruit with a touch of floral. First time with this bottling. Mrs. TLV liked it a lot more than I did.

Apple flavor and aroma, a bit too much oak when first opened, improved an hour after opening.

Apple cobbler and slight floral notes, nice oak - but not too much. Medium bodied.

A nicely balanced Chardonnay, baked apple, lightly oaked, floral. Nice mouthfeel.
