  이제는 우리 모두가 오베르는 꽤나 와인을 잘 만드는 생산자라는 건 안다.
  문제는 이 와인의 정점을 만나본적이 없다는 것이다.
  특히나 이 밭, 이 빈티지는 RP100이라는 데 어떤 느낌인지 궁금할 수 밖에 없다.
  
  처음에 따르고 나서의 노즈는 생각보다 영빈과 큰 차이가 없어서 놀랐다.
  흔히 말하는 버터리함과 오크향이 꽤나 주도적이었다.
  물론 벌꿀향이 없는 것은 아니었으나 소위 말하는 10년에 가까운 세월은 거의 느껴지지 않았다.
  
  1시간 이상이 지나고 나서야 부르고뉴 블랑과 같은 열대과일스러운 향이 느껴진다.
  대중적인 표현인지는 모르겠으나 깨를 볶는듯한 몽라셰의 느낌도 더해졌다.
  더 좋은 것은 이 향은 고깃집에서 마셨음에도 고기를 이겨내는듯할 정도로 꽤나 강렬했다.
  
  입에서는 적당한 유질감과 깔끔한 산도가 기분 좋았다.
  분명히 꽤나 높은 알코올 도수에도 쓴맛이 튀지 않은 점도 좋았고.
  물론 RP 100점이라는 기대감에 비해서는 조금 약할수는 있지만 역시나 오베르는 오베르였다는 느낌.

  Rich, complex, tart, marvelous. Even when fairly chilled it has pineapple, mango, lemon meringue, and a crisp tart finish that lasts for minutes

  Might have caught this one at a bad time. Huge Aubert fan (and CIX in particular), but got massive amounts of flint and green pepper on this. Missing pretty much all of the notes others have mentioned. I have a couple more bottles so hoping this was an anomaly.
  
  Edit: WAY better on night 2. Guessing this just needs a few more years. Not surprised.
  
  Edit #2: Forgot I left a glass-worth in the fridge for seven (!) days. Gorgeous. Classic Aubert. Looooong finish. 96 point good. Confirms that this needs a few years.
