Ripe, slightly perfumed nose of red/black fruit. On the palate, rather ripe, but not overly so, with good acid / tannin structure. Dark Cherry and raspberry fruit. Less powerful, more open, slightly more acidity, and less oak than the 2003 Tortochot Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru, tasted side-by-side (see TN).
