  Bought on release from the Domaine
  perfect cork
  opened and drank over 2 night. no decanting
  
  * when tasting this back in 2015, it was carrying some serious tannins , since then, it has really softened and begun to express itself
  
  robe transparent ruby, starting to show a little age but still youthful looking
  nose _ WOWOWOW , right from get go, this is sporting a really beautiful nose. first is that block of pinot that we all look for. there are notes of red cherry along with some forest floor, beet juice. lovely. I think that this nose will develop over the next few years
  palate - this has really softened up over the past 7 years. The tannins have melted a great deal, the acids carry it through out. The tannins are still there but dusty and surely gives it some structure. they are not intrusive though. if you have some of these, don't be afraid to open it.
  I have one more bottle and will probably wait about 3 to 4 years. After that, allow the 1er crus to be enjoyed
  this was really enjoyable and and i can't wait for more to come

  Dried strawberry, berry and herb scents, quite sappy with verve, nice intensity, pomegranate, mineral and raspberry hints on the palate, bright and uplifting, tightly wound, nice with roast chicken thighs

  Aromatic and upfront on the nose. Clean pinot fruit with some spiciness. A bit oaky at the moment.
