Best one so far! Glorious fruit, nice development and even a silky burgundy like texture. Doesn’t feel like it will get better so will be drinking these over the next year or so.4+

Though I was impressed at first by the typicity and vibrancy of this wine on the nose, I found its tannins and overall structure to be surprisingly tight for it's age. I was hoping for an accessible rosso, at it's peak, full of sweet ripe fruit and everything we love about Sangiovese, only to find that it is lacking generosity and needs another three years in the cellar - that is, if it ever does loosen up.
My experience seems at odds with many other members previous notes - perhaps it has shut down and was in a better place a couple of years ago. I would certainly not rush to drink through bottles at this stage.
I'm very interested to see (taste!) how the new ownership at Cerbaiona are going to modernise winemaking and improve the style of wines being produced here.

In the zone. Lovely development but there’s still vibrancy and fruit. Time to get stuck in to these.4-

Second last bottle was nothing to write home about. A little tart and forgettable. No upside to this - drink up.

Soft and pleasant - drinking really well - very balanced - lofts of fruit especially cherries also getting some leather - will stay at large 92.
