The nose on this wine has faded without much tertiary notes emerging, tastes fuller with the ripe fruit resolving more towards fruit brandy flavors. It seems a little out of balance now with the finish a bit hot. I suspect as others have noted that when this had the full ripe fruit of its youth that it hung together better. Still, I enjoyed it and it was interesting to drink a wine that is declining from its peak.

Pnp....dark cherry, vanilla and white pepper dominate the palate....a nice coastal pinot expression. Very similar to my previois note...except the pepper threw me a little with this bottle. Drink up as I don't see this getting any better.

Slow oxed. Cloudy red hue. Deeper red and more opaque than your typical pinot. Candied cherries on the nose. Strawberry and raspberry preserves with some vanilla and allspice on the palate. Drink up, this is not getting any better.

Good Pinot. Drinking well right now. Pretty smooth with red fruits dominating. Soft with good acidity.

Worldwide Pinots (Sunfish Cellars, St. Paul, MN): Tasting pour. Sappy, big, ripe, vanilla, ripe cherry, strong pepper, bold and woody, lightly herbal. Not my style., YMMD.
