Took to our club. It’s been almost 8 years since last tasting this vintage. We let the wine sit and open for about 45 minutes. Nice cherry juice with hints of vanilla and spice. I would start drinking this up. I see 3,500 bottles in cellars and wouldn’t wait much longer to drink or at least try if I had multiple bottles.

Popped and poured at a local restaurant in Manhattan Beach. This wine was smooth as silk and delivered a great experience. Cranberry and cherry cola on the palate. The lone wine of the evening and it vanished quickly. Lone complaint might be on the QPR but it was a great experience. Really enjoyed it!

Popped and poured. After about 30 minutes, this gained weight and balance and the finish improved. With ten years of age, this barely identifies as new world and has toned downed up front fruit. Really quite ideal when serving to guests having both fish and steak at a restaurant. I can’t see this improving and it is likely starting a slow decline. However, these should drink well for another 2-3 years. This had more weight and was generally better overall then the 2014 Southing I had recently.
