Going downhill, but not yet vinegar. If you find an old bottle, and cellar conditions were good, give it a try worthwhile with food. Good Roussannes can be fantastic at 10 years, but 14 was pushing it. We finished the bottle with a cream sauce dish because we ain't made of money, and it was interesting. If you have a Roussanne Doyenne 10 years old, drink it now!

Blind Night (Giuseppe's, Phoenix): Grapefruit, apples, limes, peaches and spicy peppers. Dry. Sweet, light finish. Very easy and pleasurable to drink. My first thought was either Pinot Gris or Riesling. The entire group had no clue as to the varietal. Brought by Mattias.

Off dry. Nice fruit and weight if a bit simple. Maybe a bit hot. Some subtle Roussanne character. I suspect this is in a slow permanent decline.

Blind Night - Giuseppe's (Giuseppe's, Phoenix, AZ): Reminded me of Pinot Gris. Not as good as last time.
