Tasted at Torbreck Dinner @ Mandarin Grill, Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur
Salmon Brulee
61% Marsanne 27% Viognier 12% Roussanne
The wine is clear pale lemon in clour, with legs. On the nose it is clean with medium minus intensity and aroma characteristic of flower, lime, pear, and mineral. Youthful.
On the palate it is dry with medium acidity, low tannin, 14.2% alcohol, medium body with medium flavour intensity of mineral, flint, flower, and citrus fruit. Finishes medium.
Overall quality is goood. Drink now at over the next couple of years.

Nose like an oaky Chardonnay, with notes of oak, yeast, bread, and apple. Oaky, slippery, caramely mouthfeel, with flavours of green apple juice, popcorn, and buttery pastry. Fresh, clean acidity gives it a light, refreshing mouthfeel.

Marsanne-Viognier-Roussanne. Nose of apple, melon, and jasmine. Medium-bodied palate combines crisp fruit (apple, melon, quince) with smooth oak (almond meal, white chocolate, vanilla). Chardonnay-like. Torbreck representative said that unlike the 2009, this was not bottled in magnums because they thought it would be best drunk young.
