I don't know if I would've guessed Syrah tasting this blind as opposed to a Cabernet dominant Bordeaux blend with a touch of Petit Verdot (60% Syrah 40% Cab). Lovely wine nonetheless, good balance and acidity, vibrant and still fresh. Medium body and finish. This can still age for another 3-5 yrs.

Touche de réduction, prune et pruneaux. Une bouche ronde, soyeuse avec des saveurs de prunes. C'est agréable mais un peu déconcertant.

Bought this at the New York Wine exchange for $38 in Oct of 2023. Tasting great. Big fans of Delille and What a great vintage.

The Nearly Annual Lyon 10 Year Retro Tasting #24, Wines of Washington (Lyon Again, Eugene, OR): One of the higher QPR's in this group of 32 wines. A little tight on the nose, but big on the palate with some big black fruit notes, then stone, oak and earth. Still "hanging" on day 3 w/o gas. Now-2025.
