Red fruit, rose petals, balsamic notes, minerality, spices on the open and expressive nose. Great acidity on the palate, really bright and vibrant, mellow tannins, good fruit. Very fine length. No sense of heat. A lovely bottle. Drink or keep. 93-95

Very much a riper style for Camp Gros, but successful nonetheless. This is full and fruit laden, with rich cherry and orange peel to start. With some time in decanter and food the acids become more prominent and balance the riper flavors, and violet, fennel and earth begin to shine. This is a voluptuous wine, but it carries enough acidity to balance out. No idea the lifespan of this one but it likely has more time than the rich fruit portends. I would bet it improves for another 5+ years and then holds but if you have a lot of this I wouldn’t wait to drink it. Lovely.

very nice. gave this a lot of air and showed pretty. More ripe and fuller than some of the chambolle descriptors (you had me at chambolle) but still ovely and floral, just abit more muscular.
