  Perhaps a bit cold to start. Quite dense and rich. My palate has evolved significantly since purchasing this wine. I now prefer more complex and elegant wines. This is like a typical good napa cab of this era. I believe the "palate" of napa has evolved since. This is not my "type" of wine any longer, but likely many will love it! I feel the QPR isn't appropriate. On day 2, it is worse- doesn't hold up- more green pepper in a non pleasing way.

  Enticing dark red purple color with a sweet nose. On the palate, smooth dark fruit, black and blueberry fruit, smooth with decent extraction, yet a bit underwhelming, especially for one of their premium labels. This is a good wine that was more elegant and showed better with a food. There are many out there who would attribute a higher score to this wine, and 91 points is good but l expected more.
