An excellent showing from this bottle today. Gave it around 3 hours of air. We expected this to be somewhat shut down but it showed very expressive cassis, tobacco, earth, and cedar notes. The palate was concentrated and generous while still holding something in reserve: leather, dark fruits, and polished tannins heading into the finish. The whole showed impressive integration for such a young wine and I'm optimistic about its medium- and long-term future.

I'm on board with KUUMIES' note from November 2023: this was very shut down. Started off very yeasty with some apples and lanolin making an appearance after a while. Tangy on the palate with citrus and spices and only a hint of the wooliness to come. I last had this maybe 9 months ago and that bottle eventually opened up more than this one did.

Drank after about 2 hours of air. Lots of red fruits, strawberries, raspberry liqueur, florals, and gravel. Vibrant, tangy, and juicy dark red fruits in the palate with savory minerality coming through on the back end. Just as nice as my first bottle; will plan to give my others a little more age before diving back in.
