Voldsomt dejligt og blødt glas, kraftigfuld (absolut i live endnu) men blød, nem at snakke med, god mod dyr og krummer ikke i sengen... Sådan burde der være mere australsk der var

Lots of white pepper, dark berries and plum, boysenberries on the nose. The palate is coats the mouth with fine Asian spices, blackberries, pepper and vanilla. Great balance not over extracted or overripe. Drink now through 2021.

Enjoyed this more than I expected. Despite being 16% held together well and not overly hot. Big saturated wine but smooth and I can understand why this producer developed a following. Purple going on black coloring, the cab and merlot in the blend took a bit off the edge and that was appreciated. Serve with something grilled. Ready now.

Inky dark red on rim of glass. Powerful aromas of dark fruit almost knock you out instantly as you wait for the 1 hour decant. Tastes of dark fruit and licorice are wonderfully blended in this full body powerhouse of a wine. Two left thumbs up!

Another great Mollydooker Aussie offering. This was 69% Shiraz, 16% Cab, 15% Merlot. This was a little smoother than some of their wines which are typically on the robust side, but this is 5 years old and had a little Merlot in it. Great, great Shiraz-dominated taste, mouth filling and elegant. Wine was inky as you would expect. The alcohol was 16%, but surprisingly it was well-integrated and not "hot". I would drink this now, if you find more recent vintages, I would think they would be approachable with aerating and decanting. We recommend practically all the wines these folks make.,

Another winner from Molly Dooker. Dark purple on rim of glass, with a huge body of fruit. Lots of pepper and high alcohol. This is only to be purchased if you like a big bold wine. I would recommend a hearty meal to go along with this.

The wine looks ruby colored. It smells like cranberry, plum and pomegranate. It tastes like cranberry, prune, plum, pomegranate, stoniness and nutmeg. The body is medium. The wine has juicy texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity. The wine had a fragmented taste profile with a harsh pungent middle.

air for at least an hour. huge, extracted. nose of alcohol, mocha and berries. big, sweet finish. alcohol not apparent at the finish. if this works with any food it would be an enormous, heavily marinated steak. decent QPR. wonderful vintage year for the region.

Consumed with a creole dish... and it paired fantastically. As with most Mollydooker wine, the shake must accompany any consumption, to get the fullness of what this wine offers.

Good black fruit on the nose, dark red color, high alcohol (16% on label), and taste is Shiraz but rather flat and not as good as its sister blend - The Boxer. For me the alcohol is too high. Still this is a well made wine - I will let the bottle breath more to see if it improves. After +1.5hrs - very little nose remains, and no significant change to the taste. So my rating remains.

About an hour and a half decant, this is jammy and super fruit forward with an almost viscous body to it, dense through and through with a heavy sense about the whole experience, definitely a standalone drink, no way to pair this with food of any kind, it would overwhelm just about anything. Almost in the dessert category of wine for me.

Big, jammy, fruit forward crowd pleaser especially for the price. It doesn't have the subtleties needed to pair well with a nice meal, but definitely holds up well to a big piece of meat.

This was one of several pre-dinner wines and was the crowd favorite. Tons of jammy fruit on the palate, this is a "big" style, but not completely over the top. It had some balance to it with good structure and a long finish. Would not suggest pairing with food. Seems this is left best on its own. Very good value.

complex, oaky nose. fruit forward, alcoholic, and a hint syrupy in the style of their other bottlings at this level. An interesting spin on cab here. Definitely softened and better the 2nd day -- recommend a long decant

Drank with Valentine's dinner of fillets and lobster with baked potato and sweet peas. Very well balanced and smooth. Fruit forward, nice spices with a long finish. One of my favorite go to wines.

Decanted for about 1/2 hour and drank with fillets. Bold, fruit forward but well balanced and smooth. Lots of fruit, black cherry and blackberry. A big bold hot "fruit bomb". Warning: don't drink this wine if you don't like this type of wine. You'll be very disappointed and be compelled to give it a very bad rating!

Heavy body, smooth tannins, black fruits, a little harsh on the finish or it would rate higher. No harshness after two days.

The request was for a cocktail wine, not too sour or acidic. This fit the bill. As a bonus, it brought boozy alcohol to the table too.
