Sample tasting at work (Oinoscent): Different, a touch cheesy (?), not as fruity as expected, leafy. Palate shows the same profile, some bitter notes, very reserved, med to full body, med finish, feels awkward and lacking balance

Popped and poured. Light gold. Aromatic nose showing more than most. Floral, guava; steely. Good presence in the mouth, with acid that perfectly balances the fruit. The calling card for this wine is its purity and precision. Pretty much close to as good as Cali SB gets. Still, being a Joel Gott fan, I am not sure I like this a whole lot better. 4-12-17-8: 91/100.

14$ Bargain at Costco. Clean and crisp lemon and guava...with good acid. Gooseberry/grassiness emerges as it warms up but never approaches the over the top like I've had in NZ Sauv Blanc... so I like it better on the colder side. Delicious with Asian fare and a bargain. Would gladly grab more if still available.

(Dry Creek Vineyard Fumé Blanc Sonoma County) Very light yellow color; smoke, white grapefruit, lemon, tart apple nose; poised, focused, delicious, tart grapefruit, lemon, mineral palate with good balancing acidity; medium-plus finish (best bottling of this ever, appropriate for its 50th anniversary; 13.5% alcohol; screwcap)

Local Wine Shop Tasting (My average score for April went way down) (Bloomington, MN): Very drinkable wine with floral, orange peel and some grassy notes. Short to medium finish and decant acidity.
