  • Needs time to open. Inky with chewy texture. With air, some good dark fruit and acid eventually emerged. Will wait at least a year before opening next bottle.

  • Deep, dark reddish-purple in color; almost opaque. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of dark cherries, blackberries & plums with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes, spices, herbs, dark chocolate, minerals & nuances of oak & vanilla in the background. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe dark fruit flavors of dark cherries, blackberries & plums with spices, herbs, earthy, dark cocoa, minerals & a touch of oak & vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks well at present with decanting & extended airing but has potential for further development with additional aging.
