  • Slow oxidation for 6 hours. Plums, cherries, and other dark red fruit on the nose and palate. Medium tannins are still evident. This wine is still drinking very young. It has years to go before it is in the prime drinking window.

  • Cru Wines Trade Tasting (Bentley Bar & Restaurant, Sydney): Ripe, concentrated cherry; strays towards syrupy, sweet spice in support, softly yielding, initially impression of easiness is expelled by plentiful talc textured tannic grip, fruit proves less overtly concentrated on the palate and hums along in the background. interesting

  • Dark ripe plums and cherries in the mouth with nuances of sweet spice and chocllate in the background. Medium bodied, with good balance, layered with loads of plummy fruit and favours of chocolate and nutmeg. Amarone is not my style but this is a very good wine and stand true to its legacy. 93-94
