really nice reisling, had with indian roti and was a good foil, not too alcoholic, refreshing but concentrated peach and sweet apple, i liked the silky mouthfeel and the decent lenght, it was harmonious, no need to hurry to drink, but fine to go now… i did not get petrol

Honeysuckle on the nose, on the palate sweet green fruit, salinity, limestone minerality, and balancing acid. Excellent spätlase, consistent with my previous note.

Light yellow. Brown sugar, spice, and stone fruit on the nose. Rich entry although medium weight. Upfront sweetness is balanced by average acidity and excellent back end stone and soil so that in the end, it does not seem like a particularly rich Spätlese. It has a ton of youthful fruit, that's for sure, but it doesn't seem like a candidate for long aging. I'd enjoy bottles on the younger side, as we did tonight.

Light straw. Expressive nose of citrus , ripe stone fruit, petrol with spice and dried herbs in the background. Starts very light in the mouth but n the mid palate the sugars and the high acid fill the gap ending quite a bit of sweet yet balanced in the long finish. Delectable although the petrol element is a tad too pronounced for a 5yo wine. 91-92
