If I had not opened the bottle myself I would have thought it a prank NZ sauv blanc- cali chard meritage. Somewhat interesting but not a wine I would drink every night. A faint nose of citrus and pineapple. Shades of guava, passionfruit, smoke, flint and wet stone in the mouth.
lemon pasta nose. quite a bit of bite. mineral acidity. doesn't have the intrigue other godello. extraction or barrel. something texturally phenolic. it is claimed that the fruit is falling apart on this wine. still interesting, but in need of food. drink immediately if you have this.

Sure, it's about to take it's leave, but still kickin' enough to enjoy with some spicy shrimp pasta on an afternoon at home!

The six month re-taste: creamy, lemony, with texture. Still ok, probably not getting any better.
In fact, the longer it is open the worse it is getting. Drink up!
