  My first barolo with some years of development. Decanted and enjoyed over several hours.
  
  Started off with an expressive nose while mute in the mouth. Orange rim. Transformed and alive in the mouth with time. Liquorice, cherries, a bit earthy, menthol. Wild strawberries and leather. With further time the wine starts growing from delicate to stronger presence of darker fruit, smooth fine grained tannins, more intensity and notes of spices (cinnamon?). Well balanced and transforming over time and after 4-5hrs even a somewhat sweet feel to it.
