Nose of violet fruit, graham cracker, and white pepper. Thick on the tannins and otherwise a pretty simple neb. Not expensive but probably could do better for the money.

Enjoyed two glasses at a wine bar. Medium garnet color. Fresh red cherry and red licorice with hint of earth and oak on the nose. Medium body with red cherry, raspberry and vanilla on the palate, with moderate tannins and medium plus alcohol. Medium finish. Pleasant wine that will improve with some age. Great value.

Annual Pilgrimage to Piedmont; 10/5/2012-10/7/2012 (Piedmont, Italy): Tasted at the Cantina with Davide Rosso. Light in colour. Young, fresh, on the fruit with a good helping of red fruit early on. Forward and made to be consumed young. No need for extraction here or overdone characteristics. Entry level wine. 85 and drink sooner than later

Really fresh and bright with crisp cherry fruits and freshly tilled earth on the nose. It is generous in the mouth with good flesh and depth. Tannins are round and supportive and length of flavour very good. Drink really well right now but should improve over the mid-term.
