It’s amazing how much this wine seems to have changed over time. It is now not just spicy with forest flavors, it also is showing delicious red fruit flavors. Dring very nicely right now with enough body to hold up to hearty soups without being a big wine. It still maintains its elegance. It should continue to get better over the next few years.

A good wine, although in a different style than I typically prefer. Underneath plum and raspberry flavors is a pronounced cola flavor that really adds to the complexity. We drank this with roasted chicken thighs and roasted potatoes and it was a very good match. A very well-made wine. As is usual in J Christopher wines, they take at least a year more of cellaring to become drinkable than most other Oregon Pinot Noir (5 years). This particular wine is +2 years and is just at the point of being really enjoyable.

A very nice wine, much more interesting than most U.S. pinot blanc. Drank it over 2 days, no noticeable difference in taste. There was a slightly creamy element, not too much, just enough to make it interesting.
