Well-balanced and delicious, this Grillo has more body and intensity than others in this price bracket. Med to med (+) flavor intensity and length, with fresh herbs and grapefruit on the finish. Sauvignon-like. Great QPR. Very reliable from year to year. Drink now, not intended for aging, but it should show well through at least 2022. Tasted again on 6/19/22 with consistent results.

Popped and poured. This Grillo really shows a lot of Sauvignon Blanc character and is quite different to another Grillo I drank last week. Tropical fruits, peach, cut grass come through. This more new world in style with more tropical notes leading but still very tasty and enjoyable.
