Monday, January 16, 2023 - Drank 2 bottles over the past 3 months. Both showed focus, cut and a slightly bitter grip unlike most 2018's. They were, however, extremely reductive, to the point of being difficult to enjoy in this current phase. The wine needs 5, ideally 10 years before a fair assessment can be made. Make no mistake however - all the elements are there. From now on it's all about patience. Followed one of the bottles over a week in the fridge, didn't manage to shed the reduction. Time, time, time...
