This is gorgeous right now, soft and elegant. The nose features cherry, mountain strawberry, rose water, tomato leaf and tar. Medium bodied with round, soft and polished tannin and juicy, elegant acid. Combined, they produce an elegant mouthfeel. Flavors include strawberry, lavender, Bing cherry, peppermint, white pepper, and wet pavement. Refined and beautiful, drinking in its prime. I wouldn't sit on these for more than six month.

IMHO this is roughly the point at which Terrasses overtakes Racines in terms of longevity. Racines is a party right now while Terrasses is more mineral, tannic and chewy. Can’t get enough of either.

Light ruby with fading. This leads with licorice and garrigue, and the ripe, dark fruit follows. Medium weight, moderate tannin, still room to improve. Very good overall.

Dull ruby with faded edge. Typical southern Rhône mixture of low toned red fruit, garrigue, and licorice. Medium weight, sappy. I didn't find it too hot or overripe. In excellent shape and very good overall.

(Domaine les Pallières Gigondas Terrasse du Diable) Dark cherry red color; deep, licorice, dried berry, lavender nose; tight, tart berry, mineral, very tart blackberry palate; medium-plus finish (90% Grenache, 5% Mourvedre, 5% Clairette; not as complex as the '08) 91+ points

Tasted over 2 days, dries out on day 2. Kirsch, primary fruit, but also alcohol showing at the end. Seems a wee bit extracted. Drink up IMHO.
