  • Auge: Klares, mittleres rubinrot

Nase: Sauber. Mittlere Aromen von Brombeere, Süssholz, Eucalyptus, Schokolade, schwarze Johannisbeere, Pfeffer. Erste Reifenoten

  • This deep ruby wine is a blend of 90% Grenache, 5% Mourvèdre and 5% Clairette. Flaunting intense aromas and flavors of dark bramble fruits, Provençal herbs, black pepper, smoked meat and minerals, it is a full-bodied red with well-integrated alcohol (14.5%), soft wood and medium-weight tannins that carry some grip. With good mid-palate density and a lengthy (albeit dry) finish, this is a well-crafted Southern Rhone that will benefit from a bit more time in the cellar. Splash-decanted and tasted over a three-hour period, this bottle showed best after the first hour in carafe. Drink 2024-2030.

  • Interesting notes of brighter fruit framed by deeper herbal notes that sort of reminded me of eucalyptus. A little bit of natural funk, but nothing overwhelming. Definitely feels a little young, but it’s accessible and enjoyable.

  • 90% Grenache, 5% Mourvedre, 5% Clairette.
A bit too stuffy for my liking.
    14.5% ABV.
Update: Much better after sitting for days in a forgotten open bottle!
